Hi,

I’ve been taking the progesterone only pill for 4 years now and never had a period on it, until today. I’ve not missed any, had any big changes etc so any idea why I’ve got my period suddenly? And is it going to be a horrifically long period?

I have been on the mini pill for 7 years since age 15. I stopped taking the pill 4 months ago and experienced a withdrawl bleed 2 weeks later but have had no periods since.
I have had some spontaneous cramping but nothing more, has anyone else experienced this ?

I was on the depo for 8 years straight and I've now come off it ( came off in march this year) and I'm not on any form of contraception but it took me 6 months to have a period which was barley nothing and only lasted 3 days.

Depo needs time to come out of your system as I'm pretty sure it's a different type of hormone that is being injected.

I've known people on the pill to have stopped it and mother nature arrived alot quicker than anticipated

I had very bad crampting, mood swings and was eating alot just before I had my first period last month, I'm due again in a couple of days
