Mirena Coil

I have had the coil for 2 years. My periods have not stopped and I am now bleeding every two weeks give or take. Anyone have experience of this? I got it due to perimenopause symptoms but the constant periods is worse. Tried to get in at the doctors but it will be another week. Is it something to be concerned about? Thanks

I had the coil fitted for constant spotting
mive had it 8.5 months and so far it’s refused the amount of blood however I am spotting or lightly bleeding every day.
im absolutely fed up.
ive had a hysteroscopy which came back ok.
no other tests despite my symptoms going on for 3 years now xx
