Signs of breast cancer (not a lump)

left breast has started “irritating” me. Itchy underneath and a bit dimply and mottled red. There’s no lump/s at all. Don’t want to be neurotic but wonder if I should get it checked. I’m avoiding googling so not even sure if it’s anything concerning but it just doesn’t feel right. Occasional sharp pain but not uncomfortable. There’s definitely no lump.
im 45 ( if that’s any relevance). There’s cancer in my mums side of family but not breast cancer.
I need to get this checked don’t I?…..

I saw this article today, not to worry you but please have a read.

Yes please get it checked, chances are it's nothing serious, but you'll worry until you do.

Some rarer types of breast cancer present with skin changes rather than a lump.

Better safe than sorry, fingers crossed it's just a skin issue x

It may be nothing, but I definitely get it checked. I've had all sorts of problems and have been to the breast clinic x3. I've never had a lump, but I've had pain, abcesses then another time leaking/staining, in my bra. Luckily, all come back fine, skin problems, etc, not anything more serious. I've never been made to feel silly at the breast clinic. The nurses and doctors have also been lovely and thorough. I would see your GP.

Thanks all. I will contact my GP Monday morning
