36 y.o period pattern?

I am 36 years old and since my last child 9 years ago have always been regular 25 to 30 days usually 26 to 27 day cycle. My periods always agreed heavy(1-3rd) then tapered off to just spotting and lasted around 7 to 8 days. Just recently I seem to bleed for 2 days usual flow then near enough stop on 3rd day patchy spotting pick up on day 4 the back to spotting and finnish on day 6 does this sound normal?
I have been for all my routine smears and well woman ultrasound everything has always come back clear last one was April.

It could be the start of peri-menopause. Period changes are very, very common and often one of the first indicators.

Most likely it’s down to peri menopause. I’ve always had regular cycles of 22-28 days but now sometimes they can be up to 51 days, and I’ve noticed slight changes to my flow, although it’s still the usual number of days.

I've had 4 periods in 2 months.
Im 36 too.

I've also noticed bald patches on the side of my head.

I have an appointment with the dr tomorrow to discuss it.
