Fibroadenomas

Has anyone else got a fibroadenoma or multiple?

I found a lump in my breast and had it checked out and found I had multiple and that they were fibroadenomas.

I have 13 (this was quite a shock!) across both breasts and I mostly don't notice them apart from when it's my period and they can be painful.

I wish I could have them removed but the doctor said it could leave my breasts looking misshapen and a problem with scar tissue is possible also.

Just wondering if anyone else has had the same?

DD had one the size of a plum removed earlier this year and it had one the size of a walnut behind it we didn't know about!

They don't like to remove them but dd's was obviously large and was causing pain and malformation so they took both out.

I have 3, but the biggest one covers most of my breast so having to have it removed x
