Kyleena coil

Hey has anyone got experience with the Kyleena coil? Had it fitted today and feel a bit sick to my stomach and light headed ? Not period cramps . I wonder is this normal ? Also does it make you gain weight as it's something that I read after I had it inserted ? Thanks

I recently also had the kyleena coil I know it said on the pack that is possible side effects. I've had mine now for over a month, never had period cramps but now I've severe cramps every single day! And constant bloody discharge and no period 🙃! I'm considering the possibility of having to just get it removed. I wanted to wait to see if things settle but honestly I can't spend my days constantly taking pain killers ..

I had one in the past. Apart from it being painful when going in, and a little crampy for a few days, it was great! Didn't have to worry about contraception for years which was nice :)

I had mine in for about 3 years, had a bit of cramping at the start but it settled. Long-term didn't get periods, just irregular spotting. Overall was happy with it, only got it taken out to TTC.

I've had one for about 21 months so far. I think it's great. I had some spotting / light periods for a bit but I don't have anything at all now. No side effects that I'm aware of; I have put on weight but I don't think I can blame the coil for that.
