Heavy period after D&C

Due to excruciatingly heavy periods (super plus tampons, night time towels and period knickers change every 1-2 hours) I had a D&C on Friday to remove fibroids.

My period has appeared a few days early. The leaflet I've been given advises not to use tampons until next period. Well mine is two days after so can I use tampons or not? I won't be able to leave the house due to the amount of blood I lose. Don't know what to do 😢

I’d say not, it’s too soon. Personally id not use them until my next period.

No, just see this one out with towels, miserable though it is.
