Will this go without surgery

Hi

Please be kind and mindful of constructive comments only.

I have always been petite in frame and very slim but I have had two children who were large babies. There is a 4 year age gap and the youngest is only a few months old.

I have got a c section shelf which I can cope with but I've got a very saggy belly button! This really gets me down and would prevent me wearing a bikini or feeling confident in myself. Is this something that will go with time and more exercise to tone underneath or will it stay like this forever. I would seriously consider looking into surgery but the thought of anything happening to me whilst I was under petrifies me. Is there anything I can do to help it. I never see anyone else's looking like this.

You don’t see anyone else probably because they, like me, choose to keep it hidden.
Nothing will get rid of it other than surgery. I have really toned stomach muscles but it’s the skin that is stretched, it won’t ping back now. I stick to a tankini these days. DH says he loves it and I should too as that’s where DC grew. I do wonder if I had the cash if I’d have a tummy tuck, I’d love it not to be crinkly.

I don’t think you can change it without surgery. I know this probably isn’t helpful but if you wore a bikini no one would think twice about it, everyone is too worried about themselves to be scrutinising anyone else’s body.

Mine was similar to that. It's not as saggy as it was, I can see a belly button hole when I stand up. However the skin surrounding it is very crinkly like pp said. Youngest dc is 10. I can't say I've particularly worked on my body though. I walk and intermittently do various exercises so I'm slim but not particularly 'toned' anywhere.
