I can't believe that I'm writing this but here I go.
On Wednesday I met up with a guy a good friend and things got heated. We were good using condoms at first but then he wanted to experiment with anal sex so I agreed. Obviously because no prior experience from both of us we struggled. Finally I said what if I go on top he said ok and I thought it would help if I take the condom off. In that moment my thinking was that you can't get pregnant from anal sex what I didn't think was that whilst I'm trying to get it in for roughly 30 seconds to a minute I may have allowed some sperm to swim up me. Iv ordered Ella one but I feel like I'm going to need a emergency iud.

My question is am I overthinking this or is there a real potential to get pregnant.
Please be kind I'm so stressed out right now. My life's a mess as is this was supposed to be a little escape not ruin my weekend.

I would imagine the risks are very small, but are still risks all the same if there was contact without any form of contraception, do you have any idea where you are in your cycle? You are getting the MAP so make sure you take it within 72 hours (the sooner the better) and try not to worry too much.

I bought Ella one but now doing the research iv got about 9 days till my period so iv already ovulated and Ella one only works before ovulation if I'm not wrong. I'm thinking do I now go for emergency iud?

You could, personally I wouldn't unless I wanted an iud for contraception in future, i'd just take the map. But it's your decision

Having a baby isn't an option and having a iud isn't what I want. The iud would only be a short term thing. Just so I have peace of mind.

I'd take the MAP and cross your fingers. The chances of the sperm getting to where they need to in the situation you describe seems incredibly slim.

I'd also go for STI tests

Sorry to sound increasingly stupid but what made you think I should go for a STI check?
