Cerelle- does the bleeding stop?

I've been on cerelle now for 7 weeks. I started it as advised on days 1-3 of my period. My next period turned up as normal but I'm still bleeding medium/heavy 2 weeks on.

Anyone who has been on this when the bleeding stop? I'm so fed up now.

I was put on the mini pill as I'm not allowed the combined due to health reasons. My periods are normally very heavy and very painful for which I've been on tranexamic acid and mefanamic acid. The gynaecologist told me cerelle would hopefully stop my periods all together also so I don't have to take strong medication each month to cope with the pain.

Yes it does stop. I had a prolonged period of bleeding and then was irregular for 6 months, with "periods" quickly getting very light and lasting a day or so. Ended up more like spotting

Now I haven't had a period in 3 years. It's fantastic

For me, 3 months. I was just about ready to give up when it stopped and never happened again.

Same for me as above. Erratic bleeding for the first few months but now I don't have any periods at all. Stick with it if you can, mine were very painful too.

Thankyou! I will persevere with it and hopefully it stops soon. 🤞🤞

I've had to stop taking the pill. I've had really heavy bleeding for 3 weeks and got awful heart palpitations and my hair has started to fall out like post partum hair loss.

I'm going to go back and speak the Dr about it as I feel utterly awful and couldn't continue. Did this happen to anyone else?
