Raised CA125 levels and cervical congestion

So for the last 4 months I've had excruciating trapped wind pain on the first day of my period. I've had slight constipation and sometimes get a sciatic nerve pain down one bum cheek. I went to the doctors who mentioned endometriosis, she sent me for a blood test and ultrasound scan and internal ultrasound. On the scan the lady said she couldn't see anything sinister but there was congestion (enlarged blood vessels on my right ovary) my blood results have come back and the CA125 marker is slightly raised and also she mentioned the blood for my liver is slightly raised and has been on previous blood tests that no one told me about. Not sure if they are connected. I'm 33 with 3 children. I don't drink and a generally healthy person. I was fighting tonsillitis at the time of blood test. I'm waiting for a follow up appointment with my doctor. Just wondering if anyone has had anything similar?

I have had similar and in my case the cause was endometriosis. I used to get rectal pain too, again due to endometriosis (it’s also called javelin arse on MN). It’s not always detected on MRI or internal ultrasound scans (particularly those). CA125 is also seen as an inflammation marker, also had slightly higher than normal liver function levels.

Any pain that is cyclical in nature and or gets worse up to and including menses should be investigated to see if endometriosis is present.

I would also keep a daily pain and symptom diary if you do not already do this as this could give the gynae clues.

Have they not offered you a laparoscopy?. It seems not but this is the usual way endometriosis is diagnosed.

Thank you for replying. The Doctor I originally saw did mention endometriosis, so I'm assuming she will send me for further tests when I see her again next week. I do get that shooting pain in my bum when I need to pop on my period 🙈 but the wind thing is more recent. I will start to keep a diary thank you. I just always think the worst with blood results and stuff like that when cancer is mentioned 😩
