Very high oestradiol for no reason?

I'm 36 and went for bloods due to pelvic pain. For some reason the nurse did a hormone profile and my oestradiol is 1570. No idea what this could be from.

I would have thought I could be approaching peri early. I can't find anything online about anyone being in this situation, though. It seems no one has ever had a natural oestradiol level this high! I'm on nexplanon so no true cycle but also not on oestrogen.

Because I seem to be so rare I'm now assuming I have an oestrogen -secreting ovarian tumour! Or I might need chemical castration! Sadly can't get the next gp appointment for another month. I am booked in though.

Has anyone else had very high oestradiol or is this really it for me?

Hi MutantBug, I wondered if you managed to get to the bottom of your high oestradiol? Mine has just come back as being high and I have pelvic pain too. Hope you managed to get sorted out :-)

@Allie849 Hey I actually did. Scan showed a 5cm simple ovarian cyst! Nothing serious but known to cause high oestradiol. How high is your oestradiol? Hope you get it sorted soon

Thank you for replying! It was 567, so not massively high, but they’ve referred me for an ultrasound anyway. Im glad you got sorted!
