Hi-does anyone that takes magnesium have any good recommendations for brand/dose?
My sleep has always been awful but now I'm peri I'm lucky if I get 3 hours a night. I'm exhausted. Someone recommended magnesium but I don't know where to start on dose or brand. And those that take it, does it make any difference to sleep and/or general fatigue?

Glycinate for sleep.

I take L-Threonate for brain fog, and it does help my sleep too. But looking to add a glycinate or spray, so interested in your replies.
Don’t forget to have a good sleep routine too

I take magnesium glycinate for sleep and it has made a massive difference.
The brand I buy is iperk. They don't use any bulking agents or added ingredients.

Citrate or glycinate is what you need, 200mg is the dose.

I get on well with these.

And what is the evidence base for this?

flutterby1 · 04/10/2023 13:47

I take this too after reading about it. Does it matter what time you take it ?

I get magnesium citrate from Holland and Barrett. I have been taking it for a few years and I perceive I sleep much better. I still wake in the night, but I can get back to sleep again, which I didn't used to manage.

I've never heard of magnesium glycinate.
