Lighter periods than usual

I've been ttc for a while now unsuccessfully.

My last two periods have been lighter than usual and not lasted as long. Usually I bleed fairly heavily - not a concerning amount but heavier than the past two months. My period tends to taper off around day 4, then I have very light bleeding until day 6.
This month and last month the bleeding just hasn't been as bad - it's obviously been a period but I've just not had to change pads as much. It's now day 4 and my periods pretty much gone. I also always have spotting for 5-7 days before my period (4 doctors I've seen have never been concerned and said this is normal for some people - it started with me when I came off the pill around 4 years ago). The only thing I can think is that the last two months I've been EXTREMELY stressed but I feel like my stress levels are down again now.

Obviously I've been Googling and I'm now paranoid I'm in peri menopause - I'm only 30.

Has anyone else had this?? I hope I'm being stupid ☹️

I don't want to comment on the TTC aspect but I had lighter periods when I had a severe B12 deficiency. Could some blood tests be in order? Peri menopause would seem extremely unlikely to me as a non-medical person.

@betwelve

I've just googled and that does actually sound pretty similar to how I am! Thank you!
