Sex causing bleeding

Ongoing issue for years with bleeding and spotting, recently had a spell of being single (no sex) and things seemed to settle down, no spotting or cramping between periods and periods pretty normal (not too heavy). A couple weeks ago I started having sex, first time was fine then 2nd time I ended up in a lot of pain afterwards and a day later the bleeding started (My period isn’t due for 2 weeks). Bleeding seems to be triggered again every time I strain (go for a poo) so it’s possible some irritation to my cervix? My whole body’s been aching and I have been bleeding on and off all week.

My history…
I have a tilted cervix
been sterilised
had ablation to try and stop/lesson bleeding (2 years ago)
was treated for suspected PID (but I don’t think I had PID)
I’m 42

I am pretty sure I have endo but no one has ever listened to me or diagnosed me.

I just want to be able to enjoy sex without worrying about being in pain and bleeding for weeks after 😞. Any ideas how I can achieve this?

I have been waiting for for gynaecology appointment for 18 months now, also waiting to get a coil fitted though I’m worried that will make things worse.

I'm slightly older than you but bleed after sex and even after foreplay sometimes. Had issues 5 years and seen so many people. I tried coil and bleeding didn't stop. Mine isn't a lot of blood but 90%of time I bleed. I'm going through the joys of menopause so sex life has took a hit and I hope it will just sort its self out as medically they can't find a reason, but you must get checked and have a smear. Let us know how you get on

Also if you've even waiting 18 months for gynaecology go back to doctors and ask for a 2 week referral as it's not normal to bleed I'm told

Thank you. I am due a smear but did have one before I had the sterilisation and ablation. Recently had an internal ultrasound. Was told the ablation was patchy (most had grown back) and that I have some small varicose veins but told this wasn’t the cause of my issues.
I am secretly hoping menopause puts a end to it all if I get that far before having a hysterectomy.

I had 2 ablation and still bleed, and menopause hasn't helped. Had hysterscopy twice, been under general and had fibroid removed and still bleed. Recently went for a smear and by the time she'd finished I was pouring, tried tablets but that just mucks everything up. I'm under the opinion it's just my body. Gynaecology wise I've been through a lot. But don't give up

Sounds very similar to what I have been through, I bleed after a smear too, had hysterectomy too and only found a small fibroid, no other clues to my symptoms. The sex thing is the most frustrating especially when I’m dating or in a new relationship, I feel like I’m a failure because by body punishes me for days/weeks afterwards. Luckily the man I am dating is lovely and understanding (we have known each other a while as friends).
