Can anyone explain to me what this means? I've been told the biopsy shows there's no cancer but they want to repeat it because it didn't match the imaging. I don't understand how it could not match... surely it can't be something it doesn't look like?! Did they miss with both cores?! Do they just hate me & want to inflict more pain on me when the last one is only just starting to heal?!😆
I initially assumed it was code for "they missed" but I'd be surprised if they told me it's definitely not cancer if they didn't have proof of that. She did ask me if I had any questions but it was a phone appt & the line was really bad, plus I was still processing what she said & I hate phones so wanted to get off asap! I was just expecting her to tell me it was a fibroadenoma because it feels like the one I already have & everyone kept telling me it looks/feels like one to them too. Not sure what to think now, or whether to bother with another biopsy - if it's not cancer, does it matter what it is?
