Breast lump

I had a lump investigated last year ( hard lump about the size of a peanut in my right breast) doesn't move not painful at all. Doctor said would refer me to breast clinic to check for cancer where I had an ultra sound and they told me it was just my breast tissue and had nothing to worry about. They were very sure and left the appointment wondering lots of things. I was in the shower this morning and my breast is very hard compared to the other one. Got my partner to check and he said it is alot harder and the size of a golf ball. Doesn't seem to move away from my breast or be able to grab it separately. My question is should I go back to ask to be checked again or just trust what they said ? I know there is no harm in checking but going to docs and hospital is such a pain as everyone knows. Has anyone had things missed via ultra sound ?? Thanks

Absolutely get it checked again. It's different to the peanut you had, it's now a golf ball. You know your boobs and if it's changed then go to the doctor.

Yep. It's a change. Get all changes checked.
