Really looking for some advice.
I have really bad endometriosis stage 4 (adhesions and cysts)
I had a Laparoscopy in Dec 2022 with a mirena IUD fitted.
Since then my periods and the severe pain associated with endometriosis has been exactly the same as it was before the surgery. Its the same numb/stinging/sharp pain as before and seems to be getting worse.
I am due to speak to my private doctor but I wanted to know if anyone has been in a similar position?
My doctor previously mentioned that I might be one of those people who the IUD hasn't worked for and it's really impacting my life.
I am going to ask to have it removed as its only helped lighten my periods (which now last over 1.5 weeks)
Any advice would be great!!
