Massive belly - fibroids?

I've recently been diagnosed with a large fibroid. Having it removed in a few weeks. I've put on some weight in the last few months and my tummy is huge... is this a fibroid thing or am I just fat??

It’s the fibroid I would imagine. Mine was the size of a grapefruit.

And they can cause fluid to build up in your abdomen
