irregular period + long cycles, do I need to see the GP?

So as the title says I have been having irregular periods, with some long cycles (currently on cycle day 44). Some background info that may be revelant, im 26 and have one child. Not on any contraception (using extra safe condoms) Apart from the stress of wondering if I'm pregnant, I've also been having cramps at random days of my cycle. No irregular bleeding. I would like another child in the future and I am now worried I have a problem with hormones. Can anyone shed light on why this could be happening? I think I probably do need to approach the GP now but feels daunting that something could be wrong Confused

Before you go to the GP write a list of all the signs and symptoms you have however minor you think them e.g. skin problems.

Only because as you aren't trying to get pregnant you are likely to be dismissed.
