Embarrassed BV

I'm probably being completely irrational, but I've just made an appt with the GP to go and see them today, I found out I was pregnant last week and I think I may have BV. It's been an on going problem which comes and goes. I've had a chemical pregnancy and a MMC and I'm wondering if my possible BV could have caused any of this? I'm more embarrassed to go in there and tell them about the smell and discharge, and then have them take swabs. They probably don't care, but I want to shrivel up at the thought 🤔😭 tell me I'm being silly!

With pregnancy comes a lot of undignified conversations and procedures. You'll get used to it, our bodies become other people's business for a few months.

This is so everyday that your GP will not think about it ever again.

Done it, the doctor was a lady and absolutely lovely. I did my own swabs, didn't feel embarrassing at all. I always get worked up for nothing!
