Thick Endometrial Lining?? *SCAN PICTURE INCLUDED*

Went for a scan today due to some unusual bleeding between periods, and was given the all clear for cysts, polyps, etc. The only thing the doctor noticed was that my endometrial lining was quite thick, especially for where I am in my cycle.

Has anyone experience with this? Does it look like something is wrong?

The doctor didn’t seem concerned about it, but said endo couldn’t be properly picked up on an ultrasound. Google of course is telling me that the measurements indicate cancer 🙈

Should mention Google stated that an endometrium measuring over 20mm was indicative of cancer, which is why I’m so worried. Mine is at 24/25, as seen in the bottom right corner

Hi just checking if you're okay and if anything came of this? I had a pelvis ultrasound today due to being anaemic from what they think is due to my heavy periods and my endometrium is measuring 17mm so I'm having a bit of a panic

Hi Jord, has there been any update to your situation? I am having bleeding between periods ATM and so have a smear and scans appointment tomorrow. Of course my mind is racing towards it being something sinister!!

Is there any update from anyone on these? I'm dealing with the same and feeling so anxious awaiting appointment

Hi Queenroo, I didn’t have a thick endometrium lining but was having a prolonged heavy bleed in between my periods. Had a scan done and a smear. Everything was fine absolutely nothing wrong thank God. Was just a random blip in my period likely caused by hormones as per my doctor. I took norethisterone to stop my bleeding. I hope all goes well at your appointment.

Hi queen.
I've been having spotting between periods and post coital bleeding for 4 years since giving birth. I've had 2x smears, 2x scans, bloods, and recently a biopsy which was normal. No clue as to why I'm spotting so they've just chalked it off to hormonal?? It still worries me.
But as all tests normal, I guess there's nothing I can do.
Hope you're OK x
