Has anyone experienced irregular bleeding a couple of months into an increased dose of HRT? I’m perimenopausal and now on Evorel 100 patches + 300mg utrogestan 12 days a month.
The first month was fine, but this month my breasts are extremely tender and I’ve started bleeding on day 14 of my cycle (after having the usual withdrawal bleed 2 weeks ago). Trying not to freak out as I’ve read this is normal while adjusting, but terrified of hyperplasia as my mum had it and wound up needing a hysterectomy…
Frustratingly all my other symptoms (particularly the insomnia) are so much better!
