Periods & itching

Might as well kill 2 birds with one stone, I’m on my first period after having my daughter nearly 7 weeks ago, I started with spotting last Thursday which got heavier after 3/4 days, I thought I was starting to stop but all of a sudden it’s gone heavier again, I had no concerns with my first it went back to normal if not lighter and shorter straight away, I’m paranoid as I’m getting married in 13 days!

obviously we’re preventing pregnancy, we’re currently using condoms, but Im getting itchy after using them, this has happened before when we used to used them as well, I’m not allergic to latex so any insight on what that could be?

Your cervix might be a little bit irritated so the itchiness after condoms may be coming from that, you could use a gentle lube when having sex to help it.

My first period after my baby was all over the place and felt it lasted ages. I’d hope yours stops well before you get married though.
If you’re still spotting or bleeding on Monday you could always phone your gp for a check up?
