Excruciating pain - ovarian cysts

I have endometriosis so I'm used to pain but this is on another level. For about a week now and at various times of the day I've felt extreme pain in what feels like it might be my left ovary. It gets to the point where I can't stand up straight because it hurts so much. I've had it around the same time each evening and then sometimes through the day too. It lasts a few hours and then the pain goes again but I'm left feeling tender until the next lot of pain. Has anyone else experienced this?

Please get it checked out if you can - I had severe pain with a large ovarian cyst, the pain was due to my fallopian tube being twisted. I've since had to have my tube and ovary removed.

Hi @BreakHerOffAKitKat I'm going to book an appointment tomorrow. Its awful isn't it? Did you have bleeding and blood clots too?

I remember the first time I had the pain it took my breath away and made me fall down, it felt like I'd been stabbed it was so intense. I've suffered with cysts for years and had a 16cm one removed but it came back just as big which caused the damage from twisting round my tube so there was no choice but to remove the cyst, tube and ovary that time. I did have a lot of clots and bleeding, not so much since my surgery last year. Hopefully they can get you referred to gynae without too much of a wait

Was just going to say you should get it checked in case it's an ovarian torsion. Hopefully it's not. But if you're in that much pain, worth going to A&E to get checked out

I had this for months and saw 3 different doctors who dismissed me
Turned out to be a 10cm cyst that is the type that can twist
I had surgery soon after to remove Fallopian tube,ovary and the cyst
There's no pain like this pain it's awful
