I had a period started around 16th August and just come on again now. Is this always something to worry about?
extra info I'm 43. My son had an operation yesterday but felt I coped well and wasn't too stressed, only felt anxious for an hour or so when the surgery went longer than planned. Single and not had sex in years. Smears upto date but think was 2 years ago. I had pre cancerous cells removed from my cervix in 2006.
Finally and nearly forgot and writing this I think I should go to the gp, but are they connected? And is it needed? I have a pea size lump in my groin for around 2 weeks, I googled at the time and seemed more likely a cyst than swollen lymph node as from Google images mine is more undercarriage and lymph nodes are more at the front.
Sorry I may be waffling now. I have some period pain now but didn't before and usually will have pains a few days before a period.
Any advice /knowledge/experience please share
