Is near constant breast tenderness a sign of peri-menopause?

My breasts have been ridiculously sore recently, almost constantly. I only get a week or so, if that, when they aren't sore. It's really getting me down. My PMS is horrendous as wellaand for 2 weeks every month I'm very down. I know I need to just go to the gp but I'm probably just going to be told I'm too young for peri menopause as I'm 39.

I used to take a good quality evening primrose oil for breast pain.

Hi CreatingHavoc, I hope you are feeling better. I started having irregular periods from 39-41 then no periods at all. Throughout this period my breasts were so tender that I could not bear bras, ended up wearing sports bras. I would say the tenderness stopped when I stopped having periods.

I am now 47 and have gone through the hot flushes, weight gain, mood swings etc. I was fine until about 3 months ago until brain fog hit me so hard, I could not remember much of anything. I have been on Tibolone 2.5mg for 5 weeks and feeling great, but the tenderness in my breasts😵‍💫 best of luck to you.
