Can you get PIP or LCWRA for endometriosis?

I can’t work anymore due to endometriosis. Is there any extra financial support I can get ?

I’ve had surgery in the past and was on long term contraception which I’ve come off as ttc. I had to give up work in the end as the symptoms are debilitating and daily. im back on the waiting list to see gynae and a haematologist but I just need to see if there’s other support out there.

Do not know but googled and this came up........If you are unable to work due to ill health or disability, you might be entitled to New-Style Employment and Support Allowance (NSESA). You cannot get NSESA at the same time as SSP, however, you can apply for NSESA up to 3 months in advance.30 Mar 2023

In terms of not being able to work it is New Style Employment and Support Allowance or universal credit. You’d need an assessment under one of those. LCWRA is quite hard to get on that.

PIp is due to disability not whether you can work though there is often a crossover in claimants.

You can but it's not the diagnosis, it's how your symptoms effect what you
Can and can't do. Have a look at the PIP descriptors. Ideally you need medical evidence to back up examples, do you have a sympathetic gp or consultant? You can also request your gp records foc under gdpr from the surgery to use as evidence .
