Can/ should I do anything now?

Went to the dr with breast pain (couldn’t feel a lump). He couldn't feel a lump either, but referred me anyway.

Went for a mammogram and that looked clear, but went straight for a scan (ultrasound). Before the ultrasound, the lady who had checked the mammogram was skeptical because she couldn’t see anything. (I was feeling like a time-waster at this point).

During the scan, she found a lump and did a punch biopsy.

Biopsy came back clear 'as expected'.

Great. All good. Except that I have a lump that I scarily can’t feel still and I still have pain.

Do I just live with the pain or should I be asking for something else?

what is your pain like?

Like a stabbing pain that goes through the breast. Not agony (maybe a 3), but enough to be uncomfortable and to take note of it. Comes and goes- sometimes lots, sometimes not much.

It was the reason I went to the dr (couldn’t feel a lump). Now I know there is a (benign) lump there it’s like it’s ok… but the pain is still there.
