Tests for hormones

I’ve posted on here before about my irregular period and pain during sex. I had a blood test nearly 6 weeks ago only had 1 and it was on the day after my period ended. All the tests came back normal I’ll post a picture of the results below. I also had a transvagial ultrasound and a normal one 3 weeks ago nothing was spotted…
I’ve been reading that apparently the proper way to check hormones is by having 2 blood tests at different times during your cycle. Is that right? I rang the doctors after I had my ultrasound and she basically said there’s nothing else they can do and refered me to a gynaecologist which is a year wait and if I wanted more control over my period to go back on the pill 🙄 but this doesn’t help why I’m getting the irregular periods and pain during sex…
I’m 25 have got a 2 year old that’s when the painful sex started after having her emergency c section. And the irregular / long periods started after I came off my pill in December.
I’ve also posted a picture of the result notes from my scan.

I had a c section nearly 8 years ago and since then my periods were horrendous! It got me down. The bleeding was so heavy and never regular. I was losing so much blood, I was weak and pale. I was showing for at least 15 days in a month. It affected sex life because of irregularity. I had hormone tests and an ultrasound and all normal. Well its not normal! Eventually doctor said pill was only option. I tried for a bit and yeah it's great, I didn't bleed and was able to live properly but I shouldn't have to put fake hormones inside me so I stopped and tried to cure myself.

I eat anti inflammatory foods when I'm bleeding (Porridge every morning for example). Lunch is usually jacket spud. I don't eat cheese and I limit dairy, I only eat a bit of chocolate and I don't drink alcohol when I am on. I also have an Actimel everyday of the month because gut health effects our hormones. I also eat fermented foods like Sauerkraut and increased my egg intake. My periods are so much better and I can go about my business. I only bleed for 4/5 days as oppose to 15.

As for pain during sex I don't suffer with that but since my c section my womb is tilted and smears are now horrendous! Maybe that's the case for you? Have you had a smear since?

@Theamofm
bet that was awful for you! My periods arnt heavy when they do come there very light can get away with just a panty liner really. They come every 42+ days and last 6 days.
I had my first smear begging of this year and it came back fine. The doctor did a vaginal examination on me the first time I went and she was pressing around my stomach and I did tell her it hurt but feel like I’m being fobbed off when somethings not right 🤷🏼‍♀️ and because my test came back that’s another way to fob me off even more

@Lauren8642 I feel your pain. My smear results were fine but the nurse doing it noticed my womb and that's how I know its now tilted.

There are private companies that test hormones, you could maybe try one of them see if your results are any different? Could the sex pain be psychological? 42 days is a long time, perimenopause? Try some perimenopause vits?

@Theamofm The smear lady didn’t mention any thing about me cause I asked her about the pain and she said everything looked normal down there.
I hope I’m not going through the menopause yet I’m only 25.
my cycles since January have been 45, 47, 33, 42 now I’m on 46 and waiting
