I spent 7 hours in a&e on Thursday night, I've had 3 bleeds in 6 weeks, this one being really thin bright red blood that barely comes out onto a pad but the most excruciating pain, pain in my back and all across my pelvis to the point I was being sick due to it! It took a nurse 7 attempts to find a vein to take blood, and 4 attempts to get a canular in me and announced my veins had collapsed! The doctor point blank refused to help me, told me they don't do scans for gyne related issues and refused to call the on call gyne doctor, told me I need to speak to my gp and get them to arrange a scan, I can't even get a telephone appointment until the 25th with a clinical practitioner at my gp practice!
Honestly I don't know what to do ive had two laprascopys for endometriosis in the past so im well familar with pain but i have never had anything quite like this!! The doctor didn't even want to examine me! I had cin3 back in 2015 and cin2 in 2019 so tbh im scared to death over what could be going on down there, i also lost two family members to cancer so its definitely concerning me.
I think I just need a hand hold. I feel very alone with all of this and overwhelmed.
