Hello
It's been suggested my teen daughter has Ferinject (iron) diffusion and I feel a little nervous about it - does anyone have experience of having this please? thanks

I have had a Monofer iron infusion with no issues at all.
I was very anaemic and it took 4 weeks for me to feel a difference and I was better in 6 weeks.

Yes, I’ve had them and they were fine. Take a book or magazine. It’s a wait while they set it up, 20-30 mins for it to drip in and then they keep you for a while after in case of any (rare) reaction. Takes well over an hour all told. I had no side effects. Took a couple of weeks to start feeling better. Consultant said it’s the equivalent of dumping a shedload of raw materials at the factory door - the factory still has to make what you need for you to feel better. I liked that analogy :)
