As title really, I’m nervy!

My periods have always been horrific but weirdly in the last few months I haven’t had much pain/symptoms.. I’m not sure if I’ll let on to that though 🤔

Write down anything you want to ask ahead of time, no question is stupid. If you’ve kept a pain and symptom diary take that along as well.

You’ll likely be scanned during the appointment or sent for a specialist scan at a later point. This could be an internal and/or external scan - it can be uncomfortable when they ‘probe’ sections of endometrial tissue.

Symptoms can come and go - partly why it’s so hard to get diagnosed. Include any impacts on bowel movements, for example. Good luck OP.

I was wondering if there would be an examination, better remember to shave my legs tomorrow! I’ve already had ultrasound/TV ultrasound and MRI.

I haven’t been keeping a pain/symptom
diary because this has been going on for 20 years and any GP has told me it’s normal 🙄

Well it was very underwhelming and only took about 20 mins! The gist being it’s probably stage 3 and up to me how I proceed.
