Cycle after coil removal...

Just curious to know when/if anyone's cycle got back to normal after the coil removal. I had mine out on 15th May and started my period exactly 28 days later, but my next two cycles have been 24 days each. The first two periods were 3 days each but I'm now on the 6th day of the third one! Plus I'm incredibly sore this time round for some reason (full STI screen since last partner so absolutely not that and not sexually active right now)

I've got endometriosis so have been on some sort of hormonal contraception for over 20 years, mostly without any periods (pill back to back then coil). In the brief times I've had a 'natural' cycle it's been exactly 28 days with a 5 day period.

Im using the Flo app at the moment and entering details every day but I'm just hoping I don't keep getting one every 3 weeks due to how much I suffer! I can't have anything else re hormone treatment now due to other health risks either.

Are you old enough for it to be peri menopause related ?

I'm 37, but I was told just before Christmas that I had a very low ovarian reserve (I always knew it would be difficult for me to have kids so I'm ok with that). I guess I naively thought the gaps between would get longer rather than shorter!

The gaps between periods got shorter in peri for me, as can happen. Then they can get heavier and you end up anaemic.
