When do you take your Progesterone?

I'm on HRT (patch and progesterone tablets) but I'm confused when I should take the tablets. I take them for 14 days a month but where do you take them in your cycle?

I ended up having 2 periods a month after taking it for a while and now my body seems to be confused.

Do you take them at the start of your cycle, I'm the middle or at the end? What about if you are longer than 28 days🤷‍♀️

I take mine day 14 (counting first day of period as day 1) for 14 days (day 28).

Doesn't it say on your prescription? I take mine on days 1-12 of the calendar month.
