Two weeks and three days post lumpectomy and flap reconstruction and I still feel like I'm being stabbed. If I keep still in the right position I'm ok, but if I move wrongly (and I can't seem
to pin down right/wrong moves) the pain is crippling.
I have small boobs and the surgeon needed to remove 1/3 so was keen not to leave me very lopsided. I honestly couldn't care less, I'm too old to worry about nice boobs. I asked if it was painful and he was very reassuring. I fell for that didn't I.
I know other women who've had mastectomies and/lumpectomies but not this flap procedure so I've no one to compare with.
Anyone out there with any experience of this
