Achenbach Syndrome

I know what the syndrome is.
Just wanted to know what other ladies experiences were?

For me it has occurred only 3 times in the last 4 months. The first 2 times occurred close to each other until my third occurrence today. It is triggered for me by the lightest of touch to my thumb, akin to a feather touching it. Such a weird syndrome.

Hi, I think I have this. It's happened a few times recently.
After slight pressure, my finger is swollen and red/purple with bruising, and sore.
I remember this happening a lot when I was a teenager. I'm now in my 50's. Do you think hormones play a part?

Thanks for your reply. There doesn't seem to be a pattern, I wouldn't say linked to hormone.
