Adhesions after c-section

Has anyone got adhesions after c section?
I had a c section just over 2 years ago and since then sex has been painful, it also hurts when I press on my tummy around my belly button and generally around my whole tummy.
My periods are also very irregular since coming off the pill in December and I suffer with bad bloating and pains up to 2 weeks before I’m due on.
I had an appointment with the doctor beginning of July she did an internal examination, swaps and everything was fine. Then I had blood test for my hormones was normal and just had an internal and external ultrasound and she said that’s all okay. Which I’m very pleased with but kind of feeling a bit meh about not knowing what it is.
I was looking into adhesions and thinking maybe it could be that but I’m unsure

Hey! I know this thread was posted a while ago but it came up when I was searching and thought I could maybe help.
I had my c section just over a year ago and have some similar symptoms to you. I don’t have painful sex but do get extreme pain in my section scar and abdomen, especially if I haven’t slept well or done a lot during the day. I can’t put my baby to bed and have to take him out in the car to get him to nap during the day, so it doesn’t hurt my stomach more. I also have more painful periods since having my baby.
I, like you, had all the blood tests, examinations and swabs and had everything come back fine. I had also been on Dihydrocoedine regularly which hasn’t helped. After lots of drs opinions one mentioned adhesions. Which I felt sounded accurate with what I was experiencing. The only way to accurately find adhesions tho is through a laparoscopy. I went in for the procedure a few days ago and turns out I had adhesions that were connecting my section scar to my womb and were pulling on it, they have now been cut. I was advised they may reform but very unlikely it will be worse as it was performed laparoscopically. Other adhesions had formed but if they didn’t look to be pulling they weren’t cut. I also had patches of endometriosis which they said would’ve likely been contributing to the painful periods, so they were burnt away. I am currently recovering now - in lots of pain lol but hopeful it will have helped. They said I could also have trauma to my abs from the section being an emergency but we won’t know for 8 weeks to give my body chance to heal.
There is not a lot of drs aware of adhesions causing problems, particularly after sections so it’s worth getting different opinions.
I hope you are able to find out and fix what is causing your issues 🫶🏼🫶🏼
