I haven't had a period in about 9 months. My periods issues stem from PCOS, but I never missed a period, they would just be late. I started on the depo injection last year for birth control and to stop my periods, and came off it in March and have not had a period since.
Recently I have started dating again after a dry period of 7 months and have been having unprotected sex (stupid, I know but I have been treating PCOS like free birth control) We have only had sex a few times which have been last week and the week before.
Last night I started what I thought could be a period, I put a pad on and noticed it was only very small amounts of pink spotting. Today I have started having some very mild cramping in my back. I'm not sure if this could be implantation bleeding/cramps or if sex has triggered my period to slowly restart. Any ideas?
