Ever since having my children I've suffered badly from what I assume is PMDD. Depression, extreme fatigue which mostly occurs for 2 weeks of the month around the time you'd expect PMS symptoms.

I went to the doctor at the start of the year but he just prescribed me anti depressants which I didn't want to take.

After some research I decided to purchase my own birth control pill from superdrug since the doctor seemed so unhelpful (eloine - uk version of yaz which is used to treat pmdd). I took the pill back to back and it worked for the most part, no more extreme dips of hormones causing bad depression and fatigue etc. However the pjll made me gain weight and also have a complete loss of libido. So I decided to try coming off of it this month and take some hormone balancing supplements instead and see how I got on and bam the last 2 weeks have been hell. I can barely keep my eyes open, I feel so low, unmotivated and depressed.

I just don't know what to do, I either choose to not feel depressed or not have a sex drive at all which effects my relationship. At the moment I'm leaning towards just going back onto the pill as I can't feel this way.

Was hoping somebody has some advise or has been in this situation. Thank you
