I’ve only been on it for three months but I’ve heard horror stories of ovulation not returning. If you have any experience I’d love to hear it. Thank you.

@Brewskii I was on an equivalent drug I started on one but had to change to the other about 2 months in due to supply issues. I was on both Synarel and Buserelin not sure which one was first. I was on them for 6 months which is the normal time frame for them. Prior to that I was on Duphaston (pure progesterone) for about 8 months I think.

This was 20 years ago but the second I finished the 6 months I had a laparoscopy to confirm the diagnosis and laser treat any remaining endo deposits. I had live deposits despite all the meds so I fall into the does not completely respond to medical treatment category. After the laser lap and dye (flush tubes) I was put on the mini pill again to protect against pregnancy with a risk of multiples ie twins/triplets due the the Synarel/Buserelin which is also used for IVF egg harvesting. I am absolutely sure my periods were back shortly after I stopped the GnRh analogues (Synarel/Buserelin.)

I believe that there are more drugs they can give to restart the periods again if they don't start naturally. Endo is completely shit which you already know. Good luck with the Prostrap, I hope you don't suffer too badly with any side effects. I also took Livial a sort of add back HRT too although as I have said that was 20 years ago.

I had prostap for 8 months to shrink fibroids before having them removed.

I've since had two children.
