I've bed after using vibrator but it was also after a smear

Went to consultant yesterday who examined me and did a smear for me at my request (it's been just over 2 years) because my periods have just gotten close together and I spotted for a whole week before my last period.

She's ordered a trans vaginal and a pelvic smear.

Anyway I've used a vibrator today after the smear yesterday and I've had a very small bright red bleed.

Any thoughts? I'm freaking out. My cervix looked normal yesterday.

I'm 39. Things are a little irritated down there. I'm not sure if this is all peri. I have hormone blood tests I need to do when my period arrives next.

Transvaginal and pelvic scan not smear!

As you can see I'm all over the place! Do you think the smear has made me bleed and I've noticed upon using the vibrator?

I've bled after a smear before, so I'd put it down to that, unless it turns out not to be a one-off - and you're getting a scan anyway, so you'll be checked.

So unfortunate - I was feeling relieved about it all before this. I have time to see more of what's going on with things and my cycle before scan and follow up appt.
