Smear, biopsy.

I had a smear results as followed HPV-positive and cells where tested- high grade dyskaryosis ?invasive squamous cell carcinoma.
Had a colposcopy 28th June, said they cannot tell if it is or isnt cancer had a Lletz procedure and biopsy taken. Nothing much said.
Received a phone call today 11/7 to give me an appointment for Thursday 13/7 to go discuss my results and further treatment? Was her words.

Anyone experienced this?
Am I going to get bad news Thursday?

Always prepare for the worst and hope for the best. The area removed during the LLETZ May not have clear margins of the affected area and you may need a further treatment to remove it all. I would be pleased it’s so quick, at least the lab’s on top of it. I had a cone biopsy after LLETZ and it was ok, here if you have any questions

I hope the appointment goes ok, we aways think the worst. I’ve had a call like before and it was just a silly thing that they could treat.

@NewMum456 It was in fact cancer, but its ok team seemed very positive we'd caught it in time and there hoping another loop will clear completely, if not worst case will be a hysterectomy but that is also fine I do not plan to have any other children. X

I’m sorry to hear this 😔glad that it was caught early! Thank god for smear tests, I know so many woman don’t bother going. Look after yourself hunni ❤️
