Can anyone recommend any at home fertility/hormone tests?

I have googled and there are quite a few out there, hard to know which is the best to use!

To test what exactly?

As much as poss really, most of them test AMH, LH, FSH, oestrogen, testosterone, prolactin, SHBG, TSH, thyroxine.

You’d be far better off having blood tests performed in a medical setting rather than using home based kits.

I agree, it's best to get it done in a professional setting. It costs a bit more but the turnaround will
be quicker. Some things have to be tested on specific days in your cycle or they won't be valid. A professional will get a better sample from your arm rather than you struggle with a finger prick.

Its not just blood tests you need though. For a proper fertility check, you'd also need a hycosy or hsg to check the shape of your uterus and whether your tubes are clear, along with STI screening for you both- among other things. Any reason you don't want to see a fertility specialist?

Go to your GP. We need to stop going private for everything. It's what the Tories want. I went to GP for mine. Are you TTC?

Hi sorry I’m the OP but couldn’t get in to my account 😅

I’m 31 and single but have endometriosis, endometrioma, ovarian cysts and a thickened womb lining.. so I’m very aware there’s more (a lot more) to it but it would just be good to have a wee check of bloods.

NHS won’t care since I’m not TTC and nearest private clinic is 3 hours away so not exactly ideal when it’s a “just in case”.

I’ve used at home blood tests before to keep on top of my iron/b12 levels as the NHS wouldn’t test unless I had symptoms even though I was v deficient in both for a long time.

Hertility health
Used then twice.
Private hormone and fertility tests...
Money very well spent
