Eyelash loss

I had to put on make up today, something I haven't done in a while so the loss isn't down to that, I noticed while putting mascara in there was a gap of eyelashes. Does anyone any reasons this could be or what I can do about it?

Have you had Covid? One of my friends lost some eyelashes when she had Covid. They grew back though.

I have alopecia, and have lost my eyelashes. There were periods in the past where I just lost some of them, as alopecia can be patchy in its impact. Do you have any hairloss elsewhere?
That's just one possible cause; there could be others .

Had covid last year but not recently. And it's only my eyelashes o have noticed the loss from no where else

If it's unexplained/alopecia I would ask the Dr if bimatoprost might help with regrowth.
