I've about to start HRT after suffering various horrid exhausting symptoms for a long time. Feeling nervous and apprehensive! So I still have a cycle although these have shortened in length this last year. I have been prescribed starting low dose of evorel 25 patches and provera tablets for the progesterone part. Please can someone 🙏 who has more insight into their hrt journey explain why I have to take the tablets for the last 12 days of my cycle. I understand the reason why I have to take it just not the reason when? So I'm about to start them today which is day 12 so I'll be taking them through my usual period..Will it effect my cycle? Can I expect bleeding outside of my normal period? GP was a little vague and I'm just confused. Please can someone on here with more knowledge explain.Thanks so much !
