Caneston pessary didn't work - what now?

Not a vulva troll, promise.

I'm quite prone to thrush but in the past a pessary treatment has always knocked it in the head.

A couple of weeks ago I thought I had a flare up so got a Ceneston pessary. Two weeks on, I'm still itchy and sore. No unusual discharge though.

The box says see a doctor but is that really necessary? Any advice please?

I get a script for nilstat when canestan fails.

I took the oral tablet(s), which sorted it out immediately.
