Small tear - help with healing tips

I have a small tear in my perineum. I don’t think it needs anything as not big but how can I get it to heal quickly? Anyone else get this? I’ve put some tea tree oil in the bath for antibacterial help….

I would add sea salt to the bath.
If it hurts to pee squirt with a sports water bottle as you pee.

Thank you - doesn’t hurt to wee . Sea salt added to the list . Just want it to go asap. Have a smear test booked for Thursday as well so wasn’t sure if that would split it open again…

I didn't tear so can't offer advice unfortunately but there's no way I'd be having a smear until it's properly healed.

Thought as much - will postpone I think

Post-partum, witch Hazel gel on a pad was a life saver for various years/stitches. Especially if it had been kept in the fridge before applying!

A sit bath with epsom salts, try and get air on it too, no knickers under a skirt when at home.
