Double dosing PoP

Has anyone had success with taking 2 Progesterone only pill to prevent irregular bleeding? Any side effects?
I started on POP for heavy periods rather than contraception and it’s worked well to stop the heavy periods but the bleeding is now irregular. I read that it can be doubled to reduce this and I would like to avoid any bleeding for my holidays.

Hi. I tried this. I have had irregular bleeding for three years. Constant spotting etc.
I tried POP, made things worse. After 6 months, tried double dosing. Still the same. Sorry!
Have a coil now to try and treat the issues, heading into month 6 and constant spotting still. Absolutely fed up! Wish there was a miracle cure. X
