Private hospital lost my hysteroscopy biopsy results ☹️

I had a hysteroscopy ( camera in uterus ) and polyps and thickened uterine lining found which got removed and sent off to biopsy sampling , I waited 8 weeks and they just told me sorry they have lost the results , what do I do now ? So disappointed ! I wanted to know if I had an infection or hormonal problem due to thick lining and now I won’t know ! ☹️ sorry for the rant don’t know what I’m asking here ! Thanks for reading !

Surely they have to re do the biopsy at their cost? Have they not offered to do this?

@MargotDeWitt hey , no they have not offered this , the secretary on the phone said that my consultant is pretty sure it’s nothing to worry about so I don’t have to worrry 😩

Best invoice them for the fees you paid then, since they have not provided a service.

As I said in your other thread. If the private hospital has lost your results, as opposed to having lost the sample before it was sent to the lab for a pathology report, then the lab that processed the sample will have the results on file and the hospital can request that they are resent.

Have you been in contact with the Spire's patient liaison officer?
